WatchDog timer crash - System reboots to old image / recovery image

On our custom WP76xx board, the current or default image is as below.
We have added 2 legato applications for wifi working. Added this app using command line update.

We observed that on 4 out of 10 boards watch dog timer crash happens and it reboots. But when it reboots, on the board the user legato applications which were installed, is now uninstalled on the board.

Can you help resolve this issue ?

does your application cause the watchdog timer crash?

Please also see here:

“Updated or modified systems enter a probationary period (default 30 minutes) during which time an app or framework daemon failure will result in a roll-back to the previous “good” system. For development and testing, you can mark a system good (pass), bad (fail) or defer.”

the legato apps does not cause any crash, it just waits for at commands on a socket.

If the udpate -g is entered, this will include the apps which are updated later ? like the user legato apps when the watchdog crash happens and recovers , the installed app will be up after reboot ?

I think so, but in case it still disappear, you need to build your application to legato.cwe, just like the user legato apps
