I’m working with a mangoh red with the module WP7702 and following the instructions in the pdf I can’t get the
ping 192.168.2.2 command to work. If I change the CF3 module to the WP8548, it works. Is there a configuration detail for the first execution that can solve the problem?
The green LED turns on in both cases.
Did you try to connect the console to see if the module boot ?
Try to reflash the latest firmware
Put sw7 to on
Power on the board
Start the .exe file with the firmware and move sw7 to off just after
Look the result on the console
Thanks for the quick reply.
I’m working with Ubuntu 16.04 and I used the “Ubuntu version” of your instructions:
marco@marco-Inspiron-5567:~/Downloads$ swiflash -m WP77XX -i WP77xx_Release9_GENERIC_SPK.spk Detecting USB of the target DONE Communicating with the target DONE Switching to firmware download mode ......DONE Downloading the firmware ................DONE Rebooting the module ......DONE Firmware Download SUCCESS marco@marco-Inspiron-5567:~/Downloads$ ping 192.168.2.2 PING 192.168.2.2 (192.168.2.2) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.2.2: icmp_seq=12 ttl=64 time=2.92 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.2.2: icmp_seq=13 ttl=64 time=0.615 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.2.2: icmp_seq=14 ttl=64 time=0.541 ms
It worked like a charm.
Seems to be good
