Are you trying to write a very long string to the LCD? Or perhaps the string is not null terminated.

I use a mangOH Red with WP7702,
I installed a new mangOH Distribution 18.09.0 Release and Release14_SWI9X15Y_07.12.09.00_00_GENERIC_001.033_000 toolchain,

That firmware release is for the WP85xx and WP75xx modules, but you mention you are using the WP7702.
@dfrey Are they compatible?

Thank you Shib,

in CF3 module’s device page at http://source.sierrawireless.com.
I selected AirPrime > WP Series > WP7702 > Fireware
I find the toolchain and Release

Hi Dfery,

no the string is not very long , i tryed by one char and the same problem,
what’s this the null terminated ?

#6

Hi,
By default the Brooklyn application are closed source and not in the mangoh system def, so you cannot recompile it yourself.
Also for Brooklyn we patched legato to circumvent some limitation like the one you are hitting.

I just had a look and couldn’t find that firmware release anywhere under the WP7702 module. Are you sure you selected the right module when you downloaded it the first time?
